Dear Jack, We just came back from our vacation yesterday.  This was my first time visiting Thailand.  I really liked it.  The food was great, and there were many places for sightseeing.  Thailand has beautiful nature and a rich history.  What I liked the most was the people.  Thai people are really relaxed and helpful. They are a lot of fun to be with.

It is often said that the Internet has changed the way we learn. How exactly, though?  Well, before the Internet, people had to memorize a lot of information, and they had to find the information in books.  That took time and effort.  Now, we can search online for any information we need in a matter of minutes.  However, we have to decide if the information is true.

Japan is one of the most amazing tourist destinations in the world.  It offers a diversity of local culture, nature and food.  Seafood is especially rich in variety, as Japan is surrounded by the sea.  Japan stretches 3,000 km from north to south.  This makes it possible to snorkel and sunbathe in Okinawa in the morning, then fly to Hokkaido and go skiing, all within
the same day.

Dear Sally,
Thank you very much for inviting me to your birthday party. You are my best friend and I really want to come and enjoy the party.  Unfortunately, though, I can’t come because my grandmother’s birthday is on he same day.  And last year, I promised that I would visit her on her birthday.  I want to keep my promise to her.  Please forgive me!

A wave of cold weather is expected to arrive on Monday in Hokkaido Prefecture.  The temperatures will decrease by 11-13 degrees, reaching -17℃ in some parts of the island.  We expect continuous snowfall and strong winds during the next four days.  From Thursday evening, the weather will start getting milder and by Friday, it will be sunny and much warmer.
